Our Services

 

The Southern California Immigrant and Refugee Center (SCIRC), a project of HelpYou, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, raises the standards on mental and medical healthcare for all underserved communities, and centers centers immigrants and refugees.

The SCIRC provides trauma-informed and culturally proficient, personalized medical and mental in-office and tele-health services. We are a community dedicated to facilitating and enriching self-sufficiency and sustainable wellbeing, through providers who are leaders in these fields.

 

A glimpse into the unique quality care we provide:

  • The first and currently only organization in San Diego, CA to create mental health services focussed on the Arab & Muslim communities, free of charge, that are culturally and linguistically competent, and in which clients meet with a native Arabic speaking Muslim therapist specializing in refugee trauma

  • Group therapy and workshops for the benefit of shared experience

  • Medical Clinics with personalized and trauma-informed attention

  • Assistance with Prescriptions

  • Translator during visits with providers, as needed

  • Immigration Paperwork
